Our family has always worked in the child care and hospitality fields. After seeing a need in the community for trusted, reliable home care services we decided to venture out on our own and create Mummy’s Day Off.

Mummy’s Day Off is an all encompassing home care service doing everything from child care, pet sitting and house cleaning. This allows our clients to take advantage of some or all of services, making it easier to care for all of your needs at once versus looking for several providers. Twenty years have passed and we have developed a strong reputation in the community for outstanding service and are the only vendor to some of the top hotels in town. All of our professionals are fully vetted and we are insured and bonded for your piece of mind. Live Scan is a way of digitizing inkless fingerprints which are then transmitted directly to the Department of Justice and FBI. The DOJ and FBI then checks the fingerprints against criminal history records. Live Scan reports can also give subsequent notification if one is later arrested or convicted of a crime.

Criminal history includes arrests, charges, dispositions, convictions, dismissals, diversions, identifying info (including fingerprints), “in custody” status if the person is in jail or prison, and a history of applications for certain licenses.[/evca_iconbox]

It is important to know who you are letting into your home. Live Scan is one of the methods we use to vet, our home care professionals and checks for the following plus more.

  1. Crimes relating to child abuse or elder abuse
  2. Sex Offenders
  3. Convictions/incarcerations in the last 10 years as a result of committing: theft, robbery, burglary or any felony

This makes Live Scan much more accurate than your traditional background check. Additionally, Live Scan connect directly to the California or Federal criminal history record and can include much more information than a commercial background check.[/evca_iconbox]
